WHAT IS A DUVET ACTUALLY AND WHY DO WE NEED ONE?

Wikipedia describes a duvet as being " a type of bedding consisting of a soft flat bag filled with either down, feathers, wool, cotton, silk, or a synthetic alternative, and is typically protected with a removable cover, analogous to a pillow and pillow case" that is "often used without a top sheet, as the duvet cover can readily be removed and laundered as often as the bottom sheet" but the main reasons we use Duvets today is to regulate our core body temperatures while we sleep and to help us fall asleep easier by simulating the close, warm environment of the womb.

What most people don't realise about a duvet though is that what particular Duvet you choose can have quite a big impact on your sleep. For instance, if you are a cuddle bunny who prefers warmth to cooler temperatures a heavier Inner would be far more condusive to a good nights sleep than a lighter one.
